The Pass Transit System operates on a limited schedule (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM) on the following holidays:
Presidents Day, Memorial Day
Labor Day Martin Luther King Jr.'s Birthday
Veterans Day Friday following Thanksgiving.
Office Hours of Operation: Monday - Thursday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
For after hours convenience voice mail is available.
Cost of passes: Daily pass: $3.00/General
$1.80/Senior/Disabled - (with I.D.)
Monthly Pass: $34.00/General
$20.50/Senior/Disabled - (with I.D.)
Fares: $1.00/General - (add $.25 zone fare to Cabazon)
Children (5yrs & Younger): First two children ride
Free w/paying adult.
$1.00/General for Additional Children
$.60/Senior Disabled - (with I.D.)
10-ticket booklets: $9.00/General
$5.40/Senior/Disabled - (with I.D.)
WHERE DO I PURCHASE PASSES & TICKETS?
Day Passes are sold by drivers for Routes #1, #5 & #6
Monthly Passes are sold at the Banning Community Center, 789 N. San Gorgonio Avenue
10- one ride ticket booklets are sold at City Hall, 99 E. Ramsey, at the Utility billing counter.
(When you purchase a Day Pass or a Monthly Pass and plan to travel to Cabazon you are still required to pay an additional $.25 zone fare).
If you are transferring from an RTA bus you must have purchased their day pass or monthly pass to be able to transfer to Routes 1, 5 & 6 and you will still be required to pay a zone fare of $.25 to and from Cabazon Route #1.
If you plan to transfer to an RTA bus from Routes 1, 5, or 6 you need to purchase a Day or Monthly Pass from Banning Pass Transit and RTA will accept those only as a transfer. Should RTA have zone fare charges you will be required to pay their fees also.

Schedules are available at: Banning Community Center, City Hall, Banning Chamber of
Commerce, Banning Libray, Social Services on 4th &
Ramsey, Social Services on Ramsey & Hargrave, James
Venable Community Center in Cabazon, Banning Mental
Health, San Gorgonio Memorial Hospital, Banning Health
Department and/or you can request one be mailed to you.
WHERE CAN I GET AN ADA OR DISABLED APPLICATION FOR BANNING/CABAZON?
These applications can be picked up at:

789 N. San Gorgonio Avenue
Banning, Ca (located inside the Banning Community Center)
Pass Transit day passes & monthly passes are accepted by all Pass Transit System buses.
Passes are accepted from RTA Routes 31 & 35 only at Kmart & Wal-Mart with an additional zone fare if traveling to Cabazon Route #1.
All routes do flag stops in residential areas at the corners of the route only.
In commercial areas buses will only stop at designated stops.
Pass Transit fares increased on July 1, 2009 and minor changes were made to the time schedule. Please be sure to pick up an updated schedule from the bus driver.
