Parks/Street Maintenance

Parks Division

The Parks Division provides maintenance of all City Parks, City Hall's landscaped area, and the downtown landscaped areas.  Areas maintained by this division total approximately forty (40) acres.

Duties performed include:

• Mowing
• Irrigation
• Repairs
• Weed control
• Graffiti removal
• Vandalism repair
• Ball field maintenance

Street Division

The Street Division is responsible for the maintenance and operation of public works facilities including:

• Streets
• Storm drains
• Traffic controls
• Related facilities

The Division uses State and local standards to ensure protection of both public and private property using high standards of service.
