  • Master’s Degree in Public Administration, with a Sloan Certificate in Health Services and Hospital Administration, from Cornell University’s Graduate School of Business
  • Graduated from John Carver's Policy Governance Academy
  • Founding Executive Director of Riverside’s Orange Blossom Festival (OBF) 1985 - 1987
  • Trainer of Trainers in Open Space Technology and the Genuine Contact Program
  • Certified by the Institute of Cultural Affairs for the Technology of Participation processes
  • Certified Festival Executive

 

Community Involvement

  • Co-founder of the Boys and Girls Clubs of the San Gorgonio Pass
  • Riverside County Community Action Partnership
  • President of the Banning Rotary Club 2005-2006
  • Helps Minister Living Hope Christan Center

 

Personal

  • Barbara is married to Edward Ball.  Her three children graduated from Banning High School: Michael Hanna, a documentary film editor, Caroline Sheldon who will attend a MBA program in 2007 and Judy Sheldon who will graduate from UC Davis in June 2007
