City Clerks Office

The City Clerk's Office is responsible for the management of all official City documents.

Other responsibilities include:

  • Records management; Serving as the City's Records Custodian;
  • Preparing, publishing and noticing all City Council Meetings, including Agendas and Minutes;
  • Administer municipal elections as the City's Elections Official;
  • Prepare and publish required legal noticing;
  • Maintenance of the City's Municipal Code;
  • Receiving and Tracking Economic Interests Statements (governed by the Fair Political Practices Commission) for both elected officials (governed under Government Code 87200) and the City's Conflict of Interest Code Program;
  • Receive and direct claims filed against the City, acting as the City's Agent of Service;
  • Receive and track fulfillment of Public Records Requests made under the Public Records Act.
